AS Roma have dropped their pursuit of Everton defender Johnny Heitinga.
Italian transfer expert Alfredo Pedulla says Heitinga will leave Everton this week, though it won't be for Roma.
Norwich City and Galatasaray are now locked in negotiations for Heitinga, who wants to leave Everton to strengthen his claims on a place in Holland's World Cup squad.
Heitinga favours staying in England, leaving Norwich as favourites for his signature.
