Norwich ace Snodgrass, Sunderland striker Fletcher expected to be fit for Scotland

Robert Snodgrass and Steven Fletcher are expected to train with Scotland on Wednesday after missing out on Tuesday morning's session.

Norwich City winger Snodgrass, who scored in the weekend's 3-1 win over West Ham United, and Sunderland striker Fletcher were individually focusing on their injury worries as the rest of the Scotland squad prepared for Friday's friendly with the USA.

But assistant Mark McGhee suggests they will be back with the playing group on Wednesday to train prior to the double-header with the US which precedes Tuesday's clash with Norway in Molde.

"Snodgrass had taken a blow on his nose and Fletcher has a programme that he's working to in his recovery period coming out of the injury he had," McGhee said.

"We are respectful of that. Both will train tomorrow."
