Norwich ace Snodgrass delighted to break scoring duck

Robert Snodgrass was delighted with his first goal for Norwich City in their 1-1 draw at Tottenham.

The Scot has enjoyed a superb start to his career with the Canaries.

"You obviously think 'is it going to come' when I had the chance last week and then the keeper pulls of a save like that, but as a footballer you just have to keep going," the Scotland international told the Pink 'Un.

"You can't put your head down because it's not about you. It's about the team and about hard work, endeavour and I'm we did that. Any team watching that will see that Norwich are no pushovers and we've got to kick on from here.

"The goal was a fantastic moment. I didn't think it was going to come in this game but you've just got to keep believing.

"For me to get on the score sheet was good, but to be honest it's not about me. It's a great point today, especially with the talent Tottenham have got on show.

"You know what it's like when they're bringing on Emmanuel Adebayor and Dembele, different thing like that. But hard work will go a long way in this Premier League and we've got it in abundance."
