Norwich academy chief Adams: Carlton Morris deserved pro deal

Norwich City academy chief Neil Adams is happy for Carlton Morris over his pro deal.

The striker won the FA Youth Cup with Norwich last season.

Adams told the Pink 'Un: "We signed eight at the end of last year and Carlton has done enough in his second year not to have to wait until the end of his second year to join them. Everyone saw his quality last season. He is an excellent centre forward.

"He is big, can hold the ball up and he scores goals as well. It is richly-deserved for him to get a professional contract and he has to go and get his next one. That is the challenge now. There is no need for him to rest on his laurels. I said to him, Well done, now go and get the next one'."
