Manchester City have released Norwegian youngster Abdisalam Ibrahim.
The 22-year old Somalia-born Norway U21 international has parted company with City after joining from Fjellhamma in 2007.
Ibrahim made three appearances for the Eastlands club while taking in loans with Scunthorpe United, NEC Nijmegen and Stromsgodset, with whom he won the Norwegian Tippeligaen last season.
City's Twitter page read:
THE club can confirm that Abdisalam Ibrahim has been released from his contract. We wish him well for the future.
