Northern Ireland coach Michael O'Neill is encouraged by Paddy McNair's emergence at Manchester United this season.
McNair has made a first team breakthrough at United under manager Louis van Gaal.
O'Neill said: "He has that natural ability. He looks very relaxed and languid in possession. He is very confident in his own ability.
"He's still growing and he's still young in terms of his physical development, but it's nice to see someone who will take the ball in front of 75,000 people and be prepared and brave enough to pass it.
"He said that he loved the whole experience and that bodes well for him.
"I don't want to put pressure on him by making rash statements about his future, but it's great to see a young player from Northern Ireland make the breakthrough at a club like United."
