North Queensland's Daal intent on achieving back-to-back wins

North Queensland Fury striker Dyron Daal is not too fussed about the uncertain future of the club.

But the Dutch Antilles international is determined to go on a winning streak with the Townsville club and hopes the second leg of a long run of wins comes against the Newcastle Jets tomorrow night.

"The most important thing for us is to back up the win against Perth with another one," Daal told the Townsville Bulletin.

"It's about winning, starting to make a run with a series of wins.

"And why not? I think we have got plenty of talent within the team to do that and I think that's very important in this league, if you can put together a couple of wins in a row then you'll be up there with everybody else."

Daal is set for just his second match in just under two months and he admits he is eagerly anticipating the clash with the Jets.

"It's been a long time so I just want to get out there and get back playing," he added.

"The fixtures haven't been the best for us either, especially when I was injured and then I got back playing and I got suspended ... it was a long time in between everything.

"You always want to go out and do well, that's what you get paid to do."
