Brendon Santalab has been given permission by North Queensland Fury to fly to China for talks with Chengdu Blades.

Brendon Santalab has been given permission by North Queensland Fury to fly to China for talks with Chengdu Blades.

The 26-year old flew out of Perth last night where the Fury had just arrived from Townsville to play English Premier League Club Wolverhampton Wanderers tomorrow night.

Santalab signed a two-year contract with the new A-League club, moving from Sydney FC in the off season.

Chengdu Blades play in the Chinese Super League and are owned by English Championship club Sheffield United who also have a close relationship with Central Coast Mariners.
