North Queensland Fury star Robbie Fowler says mouthy Miron Bleiberg is all the motivation his teammates need to upset Gold Coast United in today's derby. Fowler said: "Fair play to Gold Coast, they have an excellent side.
"They had a great 3-1 win over Brisbane Roar. The manager sometimes says too much but you have to say he's backing it up.
"He's not scared to say what he thinks and that keeps us all on our toes."
Fowler insists the Fury won't get physical, and a repeat of the 10 yellow cards and last-minute melee which marred the Roar-United clash is a remote possibility.
"We'll try and play the right way and on my behalf if the goals come they come. I'm not here simply for that, I'm here to do what I can for the team.
"A lot of people have written us off prematurely but we showed a lot of character against Sydney. We're one of the favourites to finish bottom, so we feel we have a fair bit to prove."
Fury coach Ian Ferguson added: "Everybody can't wait to stick it up Gold Coast. They have a great propaganda machine and they bring razzamatazz.
"They have been making a lot of noise but they've been producing the goods."
