North Queensland Fury seek talks with ex-Rangers captain Moore

North Queensland Fury chairman Don Matheson has expressed interest in Australia international Craig Moore. Moore has been released from Brisbane Roar after a clash with new coach Ang Postecoglou.

''If Moore was to put his hand up and want to play next year we'd be silly not to look at his experience in the club. He'd bring a lot to any club he went to,'' Matheson said.

Any move, though, would result in Moore, who was on $350,000 a season at the Roar, having to take a pay cut as Robbie Fowler already has the Fury's marquee position.
