North Queensland Fury face A-League axe today

North Queensland Fury are expected to be axed from the A-League today. Football Federation Australia chief Ben Buckley and A-League boss Lyall Gorman will meet with the Fury advisory board in Townsville at 11.30am, when it is expected the bad news will be delivered.

"It doesn't look good at all," a source told the Daily Telegraph.

It is believed that only $275,000 of the required S1.5 million capital requirement has been achieved.
