The 23-year old former FC Schalke left-back is starting to blossom in his role for the Fury but says there is a lot more to come, particularly from an attacking point of view.
“I love to go forward in this position," he told the Townsville Bulletin.
"If you overlap you can create a lot of chances with the crosses or take on and play some passes in the middle to create.
"I can do more things to support the players.
"The last few weeks I feel fitter and that's the point. I feel I can do more runs forward, take on defenders and go.
"If you feel fit it is easier for you to go forward and come back. If you are not fully fit you think 'if I make this run, maybe I can't recover back' but now I don't think that, I just go forward and enjoy it.
"And that's a good feeling ... and I will keep working on it and keep doing more and more to help create chances."
The Fury will be hoping Kilian is at his best when they take on Adelaide United at Hindmarsh Stadium tomorrow night. The Week 18 match kicks off at 7:30pm local time (8:00pm AEDT).
