North likely to remain in Japan despite Sydney interest

Jade North is a big chance to stay in Japan with Consadole Sapporo despite interest from Sydney FC.

The Socceroos defender has emerged as a target for Sky Blues head coach Frank Farina but the Daily Telegraph suggests he will stay put in the J-League.

North joined Consadole from FC Tokyo earlier this year and made 21 appearances as the Sapporo outfit were relegated from Japan's top flight.
