North Korea have had to cancel an international friendly with Oman due to food poisoning.

An outbreak of food poisoning has forced national team coach Kim Jong-hun to cancel the clash which was to be held this Saturday.

The Times of Oman reported the news after the Oman Football Association received a letter from their North Korean counterparts.

"The match is canceled because 10 North Korean players have been diagnosed with severe cases of food poisoning which occurred during their training camp held in China," it read.
