David Norris admits he is likely to leave Portsmouth this summer and is basically waiting to see what his future holds.

The 31-year old former Ipswich Town midfielder expects to be one of many Pompey players cut by the club after their fall into League One and is now awaiting offers from other clubs in the hope he can continue his career in the Championship.

"To be honest, it's just a matter of waiting and seeing what happens," he told The Portsmouth News. "It appears to be just a matter of time.

"I am waiting for a phone call - a call to say a bid from another club has been accepted and I need to drive over there to hold talks.

"I don't think there is anything I can do to stay here. Even if the club was taken over it is clear I won't be staying on.

"They just need to get money in to move forwards."
