Noonan looks to make an impact at Colorado

Pat Noonan has been gradually building up his minutes since joining the Colorado Rapids two weeks ago. The MLS Cup winner played the first half in the team's 3-0 victory against D.C. United, progressed to almost 60 minutes in the midweek home tie with FC Dallas, and managed a full 90 in Sunday's defeat at the hands of Seattle Sounders FC.

Noonan, who was acquired from the Columbus Crew to add depth to the striker position within the Rapids squad, admits that it will take a few games to adjust to a new team and a new environment.

"The altitude got to me a little in that first game and I struggled with my touch," he said of the D.C. match on June 20. "It was much better against Dallas and I felt I got over the hump."
