Kevin Nolan has told Bolton boss Gary Megson to start spending the £15million received from Chelsea for Nicolas Anelka.

The Trotters skipper's magnificent first-half goal against Blackburn was not enough to prevent the side slipping to a 2-1 home defeat against their Lancashire rivals which leaves them only out of the bottom three on goal difference.

Nolan told the Bolton News: "We all want to see new faces. Nico has gone for £15million and we want to see that go on the squad, to bring in three or four players at four or five million each."
