Kevin Nolan is considering his options at Newcastle United.

The Daily Mail says Newcastle face a battle to keep hold of captain Nolan as it has emerged he is a long way from concluding a new deal.

This follows Joey Barton's agent saying he will see out the final year of his contract.

Nolan has been linked with a return to former club Bolton Wanderers.
