West Ham captain Kevin Nolan is eager for the club to make new signings.
Nolan is happy to hear the board will back manager Sam Allardyce.
He told whufc.com: "We believe in what we're doing. We've got the January transfer window coming, where the Chairmen says they are going to back the manager. That's fantastic news for him and it'll give us all a lift to see a few new faces come in.
"I'm proud to be leading them and we will continue to stick together and do what we're doing, because I believe that the tables will turn, our fortunes will turn and the New Year will bring new luck."
