Nolan apologises to West Ham fans for red card

West Ham United captain Kevin Nolan has apologised for his red card in defeat to Liverpool.

The London Evening Standard says West Ham skipper Nolan, together with co-chairman David Gold and boss Sam Allardyce, were answering questions at a fans’ forum on Tuesday night at Upton Park.

Nolan also admitted he had been “ashamed” by his red card and told the 400-plus supporters at the forum that he would be in training yesterday while the rest of the first team squad were granted a day off.
