Juventus midfielder Antonio Nocerino has revealed how close he came to signing for Fiorentina over the summer.

Nocerino, who survived a car crash scare earlier this week, is back in training at Juve and revealed: "This summer I was on a road travelling to Florence to sign with Fiorentina, when I received a phone call.

"It was (Juve sports director) Alessio Secco telling me to return to the club to take part in their Pinzolo preseason camp."
