Noble penalty hands West Ham draw against Crystal Palace

West Ham United and Crystal Palace played out a lacklustre 1-1 draw at London Stadium on Tuesday night.

Christian Benteke scored only his second goal of the season to break the deadlock for Palace.

Hammers skipper Mark Noble then equalised with his 50th goal for the club. The midfielder converted from the penalty spot after Javier Hernandez was fouled in the box.

Joao Mario, on loan from Inter Milan, made his first start for the east London club.

The draw takes West Ham United up to 10th and Crystal Palace to 12th.
