Noble eager to mark final year at Boleyn Ground with strong FA Cup run

Mark Noble has revealed that West Ham United are keen on going on a strong run in the FA Cup to mark their final year at the Boleyn Ground.

The Hammers have enjoyed a very good campaign in the Premier League while also managing to seal their place in the 5th round of the FA Cup following a hard fought victory over giants Liverpool recently.

Now West Ham prepare to square off against Blackburn Rovers in the cup this weekend and ahead of the game, club captain Noble has revealed that the players want to mark their final season at Upton Park with a strong showing in the competition before they move to the Olympic Stadium in East London.

The midfielder told the club's official website: "I hope so. There's the FA Cup game against Blackburn on Sunday, we've had a few days to rest after the couple of weeks we've had, and our league position allows us to go into the cup game and give everything.

"It would be a fantastic thing for the club to have a run in the FA Cup in the last season at Upton Park."
