Newcastle United striker Loic Remy is confident that teammate Yohan Cabaye is not negatively affected by his failed summer move to Arsenal.
The French midfielder was keen on the proposed shift to North London but it fell over and he was forced to remain at St James' Park which attracted criticism from the Toon faithful.
But fellow countryman Remy says a man like Cabaye would not be bothered too much by the on goings and expects him to brush his disappointment aside to help the club.
"Yohan is a good professional, so it was not a problem for him. He was not affected by what happened," he said.
"That is in the past and he will look to the future. He is staying here, he knows he is staying here, so that will not be a problem at all."
