Bristol City manager Derek McInnes has confirmed that there have been no offers from Wolves for Nicky Maynard.
Recent reports suggest that Mick McCarthy's Wolves had put in a bid for the 25-year old but McInnes has revealed that the Molineux outfit have not made an offer nor have other interested clubs including QPR, Ipswich Town and Leicester City.
McInnes is also confident that the Robins will be able to keep Maynard at Ashton Gate despite him recently turning down a fresh contract.
"Players like him are few and far between and, of course, I want to keep him here if I can.
"I cannot control what other people do, but Nicky is a very good player and I want to work with good players.
"There is a chance he could still be here after January and, if that is the case, we will try and persuade him to sign a new contract.""There is no truth in these rumours," said McInnes in the Bristol Evening Post. "As things stand, we have still not received a single bid for Nicky Maynard.
