Turkey have released goalkeeper Deniz Mehmet to join West Ham United's preseason programme.
In contrast to the public row between Premiership clubs and the FA over England U19 selection, Mehmet has pulled out of the Turkey Under-18 squad for a friendly double-header in Estonia this week to concentrate on his pre-season training.
The decision was made with the full consent of the Turkish Football Federation.
