A move to Toronto FC for Sunderland pair Ross Wallace and Liam Miller appears to be off.

The Shields Gazette says Wallace's availability interested MLS side Toronto, which has Mo Johnston as director of football and former Newcastle coach John Carver as manager.

It has emerged that Carver wanted to take Miller and Wallace on loan as a package, but that proposed deal is now dead in the water.
