Stoke City have passed on Brazilian trialist Radames da Silva.

The midfielder has returned to his homeland after failing to secure a new club.

Da Silva, who has previously played for Fluminense, spent a week at Premier League Stoke earlier this month.

And the 25-year-old had an unsuccessful trial at Birmingham last week which included a practice match against Spurs.
