Aston Villa striker Marlon Harewood will not make a move to Sheffield United according to his agent.
Speculation has been mounting whether or not Harewood would shift to the Championship but it has been confirmed that he will remain in the Premier League.
"Obviously that has come out of the fact that Sheffield United have sold James Beattie but Marlon won't go to Sheffield United," Harewood's agent Phil Sproson told setanta.com.
"It is totally out of the question. He won't go to The Championship.
"We are not exploring [the possibility of leaving], there has been a little bit of interest from one or two others but he is in no rush to leave Villa. No [I don't expect him to leave in January].
Harewood has been linked with a loan move to Middlesbrough but once again, Sproson dismissed those claims.
"I know they are after a striker," Sproson added.
"Marlon would certainly fit the bill I think with his pace and his goalscoring record at West Ham but again, I think Middlesbrough have enquired about a loan and Villa won't loan him, that's it really."
