Wayne Rooney did not appear at Manchester United training this morning.

Rooney, recovering from an ankle sprain, didn't make an appearance, fueling talk he won't make tomorrow's Champions League clash with Bayern Munich.

It was expected if Rooney failed to train today United boss Sir Alex Ferguson would not risk him.
