Fulham have not received any approaches from their Premier League rivals for attacking duo Clint Dempsey and Moussa Dembele, insists boss Martin Jol.
"It's not inevitable they will leave. I feel they will be here [next season]."
But the Dutchman, who watched a host of highly-coveted players sold when he was in charge of German side Hamburg, admits he is bracing himself for interest in Dempsey and Dembele.
"You always worry," he conceded. "I feel if we can keep all the players we've got now and with one, two, maybe three, additions we can be a very good squad.
"You don't know what happens. I had good squads before, in Germany, and then they sold Vincent Kompany, Nigel de Jong and Rafael van der Vaart in a couple of months.
"It's not about one or two players but, of course, you worry because you want to keep your best players.
"They [Dempsey and Dembele] are big players now - for other clubs - and they would have to pay a lot of money." "No clubs have come in with bids," said Jol. "Even if they put a bid in I don't think they are for sale.
