Valencia are clear to finalise the signing of Boca Juniors midfielder Ever Banega.

Real had first option on the youngster as part of their capture of former teammate Fernando Gago last year, however that clause expired on December 31.

Banega has committed to a five-year contract with Valencia and will be in the city on Saturday. The midfielder said last night: "It's a unique opportunity. I want to go to Valencia and produce my best for them."
