Stoke City won't seek new contract talks with Peter Crouch.

Crouch has one year left on his current deal but ambitious Stoke aren't tempted to cash in, with boss Mark Hughes determined to keep their 10-goal top scorer.

Hughes said: "We're not looking to capitalise any value that's in him.

"I am comfortable and the club are comfortable to see what happens next year.

"It's my intention that we keep Peter because he's done really well for us and I won't encourage any interest in him."
