Plymouth's acting chairman Peter Ridsdale claims there have been no approaches for in-demand teenager Matt Lecointe. Recent reports have linked a host of Premier League clubs, including Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal, with a move for young striker.
But Ridsdale told the Plymouth Herald: "We never know whose scouts are looking at and have had no offers for Matt.
"Until such time as a club stick their head above the parapet, it is just newspaper talk.
"At the end of the day I'd like to see scouts looking at our players every week because it means we must be doing something right with our youth development, which is very positive."
