No Messi but Barcelona still so dangerous - Celtic's van Dijk

Celtic defender Virgil van Dijk is well aware that Lionel Messi will not be present when Barcelona visit Glasgow on Tuesday night.

The Argentine maestro is sidelined for a couple of weeks after injuring his thigh on the weekend and although that is a nice relief for the Hoops ahead of their Champions League clash, van Dijk knows there are plenty of other top quality players in Tata Martino's squad.

"Messi is a world-class player, of course, and he will be a big miss for them," he said.

"But they still have enough quality and enough good players in their squad.

"We have to be confident and believe in ourselves.

"And there is belief here, definitely, especially the players who played last year. We know what we are capable of.

"We seen what happened last year and I hope we can win again this year."
