Liverpool are yet to table an official offer for Schalke's Leroy Sane.

According to the Daily Mail, the Reds are showing plenty of interest in the 19-year-old German but have not come forward with any formal bid.

It was reported recently that Liverpool had offered £10million for attacking midfielder Sane.

Further reports of a January offer for the once-capped German international are also believed to be wide of the mark as Jurgen Klopp continues to run the rule over his existing players before potentially strengthening his squad in the summer.
