West Ham striker Carlton Cole will not be moving to Juventus after the Italian club distanced themselves from a link with the player.

The 25-year old has been in sparkling form of late and a link with former Chelsea boss Claudio Ranieri had surfaced but Juve have moved quickly to deny any business regarding Cole.

"We are not interested in Carlton Cole," Juventus sporting director Alessio Secco confirmed.

"We are very happy with the players we have in the team and we will not make any moves in the January transfer market."
