Arsenal left back Gael Clichy has been left out of France's squad that will face Argentina in a friendly on Wednesday because of a head injury.

The 23-year old received a knock to his head in a collision with Tottenham forward Darren Bent in Sunday's clash at White Hart Lane.

A mild bout of concussion was deemed to be too risky to play just days after it occurred but Arsenal doctors do not expect Clichy to miss any domestic matches.
