Atletico Madrid defender Diego Godin is yet to sign his new deal.

AS says the hold up is due to Godin insisting his sister receive a broker's fee as part of the deal.

The deal is for €18 million over the following four seasons, €4.5 million a season.

He didn't sign the lucrative contract because, when the moment came to put pen to paper, Godín made a last-minute demand that the club pay his sister €1.8 million as a form of commission for the new contract.
