No contact by Blackburn for Dortmund striker Zidan

The agent of Mohamed Zidan has revealed that he has had no contact with Blackburn Rovers with regard to their acquiring the Borussia Dortmund star's services.

However, the 21-time capped Egypt international's representative, Ivan Marko Benes, is of the opinion that the striker wants to honour his three-year contract at Signal Iduna Park.

"Blackburn have not contacted us," Benes told Setanta.

"And no Premier League clubs have approached Mohamed, who is happy in Dortmund.

"Still, he has a three-year deal with Borussia, and even if anything can happen in football, and a big offer could change everything, I expect him to stay at the club."
