Fans of the Barclays English Premier League must be chuffed after this weekend yielded 41 goals in 10 matches.
Not one clean sheet was kept by any of the 20 clubs with all sides scoring at least once and half those sides scoring twice or more.
The biggest tally was eight goals which was produced in the Manchester United versus Blackburn Rovers clash at Old Trafford which ended 7-1, partly due to a quintet of goals from Dimitar Berbatov who became the fourth person score five, following Alan Shearer, Andy Cole and Jermain Defoe.
Arsenal were again a big contributor scoring four on the way to a 4-2 win over Aston Villa whilst West Bromwich also netted a foursome to defeat Everton 4-1 at Goodison Park.
Wolves were involved in a high-scoring affair as they came from behind to beat Sunderland 3-2 at the Molineux with all five goals coming in the second half whilst West Ham United produced their biggest haul of the season with a vital 3-1 showing against fellow cellar dwellers Wigan Athletic.
The 2-2 Bolton v Blackpool draw also produced four goals as Tottenham managed to beat Liverpool 2-1 but the 'boring' matches of the weekend were all 1-1 draws between Fulham and Birmingham, Stoke and Manchester City and Newcastle and Chelsea.
It was a very prolific week for the EPL with an average of 4.1 goals a game which is sure to keep the fans and viewers happy.
