The agent of Sunderland striker Steven Fletcher insists Celtic have made no contact regarding his client.
The 26-year old Scotland international has attracted interest from the Scottish champions but his representative, Scott Fisher, says the Hoops haven't lodged any official enquiries.
"He is still a Sunderland player until they decide otherwise," said Fisher said.
"There has been no contact from Celtic regarding Steven Fletcher, [but] there is interest from other English Premier League sides."
Celtic boss Neil Lennon had earlier stated: "He is obviously a fine player that I think most clubs in Britain would like, but affordability may be a problem for us."
