There will be no buyout clause included in Obafemi Martins' new contract with Newcastle United.

The Daily Mail says the contract Martins signed when he moved from Inter Milan two years ago would have allowed the player to leave if a bid of £11 million had been put forward.

His representatives believe that if a couple of small points in his new deal can be clarified, he is ready to sign a new deal that could be worth up to £90,000-a-week.
