The agent of Damien Duff has laughed off claims the Newcastle United winger is set to join Burnley.
The 30-year-old has gone on record saying that he wishes to remain at St James' Park despite the club's relegation to the Championship, and help them get back into the top flight at the first time of asking.
However, reports in his native Ireland have stated that Duff would be interested in a switch to Turf Moor - something Pat Devlin has strongly denied.
"No, he's still under contract at Newcastle and that would be his first port of call," he told the Lancashire Telegraph.
"I think someone's winding up the Burnley fans because he's a Blackburn fella."
