No bids for ex-Chelsea midfielder Morris says St Johnstone boss
There have been no offers for St Johnstone captain Jody Morris says manager Steve Lomas.
The 33-year old former Chelsea, Leeds United and Millwall midfielder has emerged as a target for Bristol City, to reunite with ex-Saints boss Derek McInnes, but Lomas insists the Perth club have not received anything official regarding Morris.
"No club will let their club captain and midfield holding player go for nothing.
"I want Jody to stay at the club beyond the end of this season and haven't given up hope of that.""Until Bristol City make an offer that's acceptable, Jody won't be going anywhere," said Lomas in the Daily Record. "There has been no bid.
