Arsenal are set to miss out on a move for Salomon Kalou.
The Gunners were showing significant interest in bringing the Ivory Coast striker to the Emirates Stadium this winter but French club Lille only want to sell him permanently.
It is believed that the former Chelsea forward wanted a shift back to London but Lille rejected the loan approach from Arsenal.
