Newcastle United will be without Shola Ameobi and Gabriel Obertan for this weekend's meeting with Everton.
Magpies boss Alan Pardew has confirmed the attacking duo will be unavailable, whilst Cheik Tiote is in doubt, as his side strives to continue their ten-game unbeaten streak which has them third on the league table.
"Unfortunately he (Obertan) has picked up an infection and I think he will miss Saturday," Pardew explained to the club's official website.
"He might even miss the next two games, and that is really unfortunate because I thought he was outstanding at times against Stoke.
"Obertan and Shola are definitely out and we will have to wait on Tiote (knee problem)."
