Ian Evatt is proud of Blackpool's achievement of reaching 19-points before Christmas. The pre-season relegation favourites are currently sitting in 11th in the table, level with Liverpool and fellow promoted sides Newcastle and West Brom.
"I was reading articles after the play-off final where people said we would not even win a corner this season," he said.
"To have 19 points before we have even got to December is fantastic.
"We need to keep our heads down and keep proving people wrong.
"Manchester United might have beaten Blackburn 7-1, but they have not come to Bloomfield Road yet.
"It will be a different kind of atmosphere and a different kind of game and we are going to give it our best shot like we always do.
"Of course playing Manchester United is what it is all about - you want to play against the very best in the world. We are excited every week. Every game's a cup final."
