The agent of Nilmar says Palermo were treated poorly when they attempted to sign the Internacional de Porto Alegre striker.

"It wasn't Palermo who pulled out of the transfer, it was Internacional," Nilmar's representative Orlando da Hora explained.

"The Brazilian outfit didn't have any respect for Nilmar or for the Rosanero.

"The player was proud at the possibility of playing for a club willing to stake so much on him, but Internacional refused to sell him.

"Now Nilmar will honour his contract, but Palermo were badly treated and I don't think they will be interested in him."
