Nile Ranger refuses to give up on his Newcastle United career.
The 20-year-old has yet to make an appearance for Alan Pardew's side this season after the Magpies chief finally lost patience following his off-field troubles.
"You can look at everything, and it has negatives and positives," Ranger told the Sunderland Echo.
"For me, I have to look at the positive side of it. I hope I get my chance. My ultimate dream is still to play for Newcastle and score goals.
"I want to score goals for the first team, get on with all the players and make the fans sing my name. It's all anybody wants."
